I've loved sparkle for as long as I can remember — glitter, pink and teal everything, cute notepads, good pens, and anything a little bit "girlie." That love never really left me, even through 25+ years building a career as an executive leader in human resources.
Eventually, I realized I didn't want to just love sparkle on the side — I wanted to build a life around it.
So I left my corporate career behind and created Designs by Amanda Kate. Honestly, it still feels like a dream come true.
Now I spend my days as a coffee-fueled dog mom of two, hand-bedazzling custom rhinestone pieces in my studio — everything from personalized socks and apparel to tumblers, accessories, and DIY bling kits you can make yourself.
I believe things are simply better with a little sparkle, and that everyone deserves to feel that way — whether you're a nurse, a teacher, a mom, a dad, a bride, or shopping for a friend, family member, or even a pet.
